ENJJOIN Custom Jacket for A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie
ENJJOIN was launched in 2021 with a mission to channel our creativity and make a positive difference in people's lives. Three years on, it's a privilege to continue this journey, learning something new every day.
In late February, we heard that one of our favourite artists, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, was set to visit Amsterdam. We immediately began brainstorming a concept and devised a plan to welcome him with an unique concept of appreciation, high craftsmanship, and exclusivity.
Our concept involved using the first sample jacket from our upcoming "De Se Trouver" capsule collection and customizing it with an "anonymous portrait" on the back. Like this we’d keep it simple, high quality but also fully personalized. The portrait patch was composed of 50 individual layers, forming a final artwork.
The design was created on an iPad, then each shape was cut out and sewn together. Meanwhile, our production team in Portugal was crafting the base jacket. Fortunately, everything came together just three days before the concert.
We met his team in Amsterdam, hooked them up with some other ENJJOIN pieces, and had a great conversation—a big shoutout to them for their professionalism and kindness. Two days later, we were invited to attend Boogie’s show and had the opportunity to meet him afterward.
We are incredibly fortunate to have these opportunities that allow us to thrive on creative expression—it truly feels like a dream come true. Now, we're gearing up for the first drop of the "De Se Trouver" capsule collection. Stay tuned. More details soon…
