With this format, we want to use our platform and network to bring you closer to the beautiful game and get a look behind the scenes. Every athlete will answer five random questions on the last slide on the Instagram post.
We are proud to announce our first partner: Darko Churlinov.
Born on July 11, 2000, in Skopje, North Macedonia, he plays primarily as a winger but can also operate as an attacking midfielder. Churlinov began his professional career with FK Vardar before moving to Germany to join the youth academy of VfB Stuttgart. He later played for various clubs, including Schalke 04 and Burnley, who have now loaned him out to Polish league winner Jagiellonia Białystok.
As part of their Europa League qualification, Jagiellonia had to face Ajax Amsterdam. Since we were in touch anyways, we linked up with him before the game, talked about everything and anything and hooked him up with our Echo Logo T-Shirt and our Echo Logo Necklace.
After the game, we met him at the Johan Cruyff Arena where he gave us his matchworn jersey and stayed with us a bit. Even though the evening didn't go too well for his team with a 0:3 loss, he was still positive and enthusiastic about his next matches. Good luck bro!
It's been a pleasure, Darko, see you soon.
