FC ENJJOIN wins the Tekkers Tournament in Amsterdam
We did it! We won the latest Tekkers tournament last week. Big up to the entire team. Here's how it went:
It was incredibly rainy that day in Amsterdam. Like crazy rain. Before we even arrived at the pitches, we were already FULLY soaked. After two motivating wins in the first two matches, we lost the last group stage game. Morale was quite low at that point, but we did advance to the quarters so the mission was clear: Lock in.
We aced the quarter and half final in penalty shootouts thanks to Raph (Cold Palmer). His pens were world class.
The final started rocky. The opposing team scored in the first two minutes and we didn't really have chances to score. However two minutes before the end, we got a freekick from a promising position. Your favorite admin scored it and now we knew: We were gonna bring this home. In a dramatic penalty shootout, FC ENJJOIN came out on top.
